Dr. Debra Persinger, executive director of the Federation of State Massage Therapy Boards (FSMTB) will dive into the world of regulation: She will specifically cover the MBLEx development and delivery, explain the role of FSMTB, and share some of the services developed by the regulatory community. **School administrators, faculty, and students are encouraged to attend and will have an opportunity for open dialog and interactive Q&A.

This licensing pathway will create reciprocity among participant states and reduce barriers to portability. The IMpact has been finalized and is ready for adoption by the States. In her talk, Dr. Melissa Bird will take audience members on a journey of cultivating self compassion and self love through the exploration of topics such as identifying the roots of perfectionism and how it impacts our daily lives, how grief and loss can lead to our greatest transformations, and how change begins by returning to our natural state of being through grounding and practicing open uncertainty.
